Staffing is seeking an experienced Advanced Gastroenterologist to provide on-call coverage at Tripler Army Medical Center in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced GI physician to provide specialized care in a mission-driven military medical environment while enjoying everything Hawaii has to offer.
Position HighlightsOn-call Advanced Gastroenterology positionPractice at Tripler Army Medical CenterProvide advanced GI and endoscopic services to military service members, their families, and beneficiariesWork alongside an experienced multidisciplinary medical teamEnjoy the opportunity to live and work in Honolulu, Hawaii
Required QualificationsM.D. or D.O. degreeCompletion of a 3-year ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowshipCompletion of an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship approved by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE)Actively practiced as an Advanced Gastroenterologist within the past 2 yearsERCP experience: Minimum of 50 ERCP procedures within the past 12 months with >90% cannulation success rateEUS experience: Minimum of 50 EUS procedures annually with >90% success rateBoard Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Surgery (ABS) in GastroenterologyCurrent BLS certificationValid, unrestricted medical license in one of the 50 U.S. states, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin IslandsMust meet all credentialing and privileging requirements
