THE ROLE
Avocado is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to be part of the Outbound Logistics You will be reporting to the Outbound Logistics Manager. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations within an organization. This role involves supporting operational processes, coordinating resources, and liaising between departments to achieve organizational goals. The Operations Coordinator will manage schedules, track progress on projects, and handle administrative tasks while identifying opportunities for process improvement.- Note on Location: Here at Avocado Green Brands, we treasure teamwork and working together in person. Depending on the role, you will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations.
- Note on Pay Transparency:. The pay range for this role is $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly.
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
Operational Support:- Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of operational strategies.
- Coordinate daily workflows and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Act as a point of contact between various departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration. o
- Communicate project updates and address challenges with operational performance.
- Monitor and maintain operational systems to ensure optimal performance. o Identify, report, and resolve technical issues related to systems and software used in operations.
- Coordinate with IT or external vendors for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
- Regularly update and back up system data to prevent disruptions.
- Support the management of ongoing projects by tracking milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
- Maintain records, files, and databases related to operations.
- Assist in preparing budgets, processing invoices, and tracking expenses.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest actionable solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of new operational procedures.
- Ensure operations comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Generate reports to provide insights on operational performance.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and operational tools to ensure the organization runs efficiently.
- Schedule and allocate resources to meet project requirements.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years in a similar role, with proven operational and administrative experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and relevant operational software.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, and scheduling practices.
- Basic understanding of system operations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proactive and adaptable in dynamic environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
