Job Description

This is a salaried position. <ul><li> Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. </li></ul></li></ul><p> THE OSF COMMUNITY </p><ul><li> Six years in a row, OSF has been recognized on the Forbes list of Best Employers by State. </li><li> OSF HealthCare has had APPs providing care to patients for over 40 years! </li><li> OSF New Hire Clinician Experience for onboarding all new providers to ensure you have all the resources you need to succeed </li><li> APP leaders are throughout OSF making a difference in the care patients receive </li><li> Empowering environment to help you grow your career </li></ul> Qualifications <p> REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </p><ul><li> Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program </li><li> Must have at least 2 years exp. as a provider </li><li> Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant </li><li> Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) </li><li> Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred </li><li> Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications </li><li> Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems </li></ul><p> OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer. </p></ul>
