Company Description: Returns is an NSE-empanelled algo vendor building next-generation technology for algorithmic trading and data-driven investing. Founded by a Tier-1 team comprising IIT alumni and experienced traders, the company combines deep technology expertise with real-world market experience to deliver intelligent stock insights and swing trade ideas. With a portfolio analyzer in the pipeline, Returns is building a technology-led ecosystem for modern investors and traders, aligned with the applicable SEBI regulatory framework.

Role Description This full-time Product Designer role is an on-site position based in Gurugram. The Product Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and research analysts to design intuitive, data-rich experiences for retail investors. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating business and user requirements into wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and design systems; conducting user research and usability testing; and iterating on designs based on feedback and analytics. The role also involves creating visual assets, maintaining design consistency across web and mobile, and contributing to the overall product strategy by championing user-centered design principles.

Qualifications

• Design products and experiences from 0→1 , from concept to launch

• Translate complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences

• Own the complete design process — research, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, UI, and shipped products

• Create polished and scalable web & mobile experiences

• Develop and maintain design systems and reusable components

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Growth & Founders

• Build prototypes and rapidly test new ideas

• Use customer feedback, analytics, and experimentation to iterate and improve designs

• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

• 3+ years of hands-on Product Design experience

• Strong understanding of UX, UI, interaction design & product thinking

• Experience with Figma, prototyping & design systems

• Strong mobile-first and responsive design mindset

• Ability to simplify complex products and workflows

• Strong visual design and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

• Data-driven approach to design and iteration

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Startup experience is strongly preferred!
