We're the fastest-growing design-driven lighting & hardware brand in the U. S. In two years we blew past 8 figures, launched hundreds of handcrafted SKUs, and built a cult following of design lovers who care more about heritage than hype. Our fixtures live in Architectural Digest–worthy homes — and behind that growth is a real business with moving money: daily purchasing, inventory, international payroll, ad spend, creators, and a handful of entities and accounts that all have to tie out.

The Role

We need a senior accountant who can own the books across a mixed, fast-moving operation — not a tidy single-entity shop. You keep Quick Books an accurate mirror of reality: every bank balance, every credit card, every transfer, every dollar of COGS. You give us a P& L we can actually trust, daily. You partner with our external CPA firm (they handle tax filing) — you own the day-to-day.

This is a senior, full-time, fully remote role.

What You'll Actually Do

Track COGS daily — across a mixed model: items we dropship and purchase day-to-day, plus best-sellers we buy and hold as i Inventory. Landed cost, freight, returns. You keep COGS right so the P& L is right. Keep Quick Books tied to reality — 7–8 bank and credit card accounts across 2–3 entities, reconciled so the books always match actual balances and CC debt. No mystery variances. Own inter-entity money movement — transfers between accounts and businesses, recorded cleanly so nothing double-counts and every entity's books stand on their own. Run payroll accounting — local and international team members, contractors, and the expense flow from Ramp cards our senior people carry. Account for growth spend — ad spend, creator and influencer payments, and the long tail of other operating expenses, categorized and reconciled to source. Close the books and report — clean monthly close, plus a P& L and cash position we can read on demand. Flag what looks off before we have to ask. Partner with our CPA firm — hand them clean, audit-ready books for tax filing and year-end.

Who You Are

Senior. You've owned full-cycle books end-to-end — no one closes behind you. E-commerce native. You've done inventory and COGS for a physical-product brand, and reconciled Shopify payouts net of processor fees. If you've only done single-entity service-business books, this isn't your role. Comfortable with mess and scale — multiple entities, many accounts, international payroll, Ramp, high transaction volume. You've handled this before, not just read about it. Fluent in Quick Books Online. Bonus if you've wired an inventory tool (Cin7, Inventory Planner, A2 X, etc.) into it. Accurate and fast. Daily cadence means daily reliability — weekends light-touch when money moves. Strong written English and clear communication — you can explain a variance in one sentence.

Bonus Points

Experience with A2 X or similar for Shopify/Amazon-to-Quick Books reconciliation. You've worked with a US-based brand and US CPA firm before and know the conventions. You actually like clean books — a reconciled account is a small thrill.

What This Is (And Isn't)

This is the person who keeps our financial truth straight. It is NOT tax filing (our CPA firm owns that), and it is NOT a strategic CFO seat. You own accuracy, reconciliation, COGS, and reporting — the foundation everything else is built on.

The Details

Location: Fully remote, India-based. Schedule: Full-time, ~40 hrs/week. Daily cadence; light-touch weekends when money moves. Timezone: Must provide solid daily overlap with U. S. business hours (EST/EDT). Compensation: USD $1,200–$2000 / month, based on experience. Paid in USD. Tools: Quick Books Online, Ramp, Shopify, and our inventory + payroll stack.
