About Metro Buildtech

Metro Buildtech builds luxury residential projects across South Delhi. Our work sits at the meeting point of modern construction practice and a more traditional idea of craft, and we hold ourselves to a principle we call First Time Right: work should be done correctly the first time, because correcting it later costs far more than doing it well at the outset. Delivering on that principle depends less on ambition than on coordination, and coordination is where we are investing.

The Role

This is a full-time, on-site project management internship based in South Delhi, running for three to six months. Two positions are available.

The intern will work alongside our project heads on live residential sites, tracking drawing revisions, material approvals, contractor commitments and site progress against schedule. A significant part of the role involves using AI tools to make this work faster and more reliable: summarising site reports, comparing bills of quantities, drafting coordination correspondence, structuring information that currently lives in scattered messages and spreadsheets, and identifying delays before they become visible on site. The intern will visit sites regularly, sit in on coordination meetings, and document decisions so that nothing depends on memory.

What we are looking for

Candidates should be studying, or have recently completed, a degree or diploma in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, interior design. A working familiarity with architectural drawings, basic site vocabulary and how a project moves from design to execution is expected, though we do not require prior work experience. Alongside this, we are looking for someone who uses AI tools regularly and can describe in specific terms something they have built or solved with them. What matters most is comfort with spreadsheets, the discipline to follow an open question until it is closed, and a willingness to be corrected by people with more experience on site.

We care about clarity of thought rather than polish of language. If you think clearly and can explain yourself, that is enough. Polished English is no longer a barrier, and AI tools can handle the translation and drafting, which is precisely the sort of work we expect you to put them to.
