Ramtec LLC and Partners is seeks candidates for 4 positions - Senior Systems Engineers to support a high-profile Federal program in Sterling, VA. We are looking for experienced engineers who can design, configure, deploy, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize complex enterprise systems in modern cloud-based, DevSecOps environments.
This is an opportunity to work on a technically sophisticated program supporting digital engineering, cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, virtualization, APIs, data, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
We are seeking senior engineers with a strong systems perspective and the ability to work across infrastructure, applications, security, and integration domains.
Technical Focus Areas
We are hiring across several areas of expertise, including:
Enterprise Applications: SharePoint, Tableau, IBM Enterprise Lifecycle, COTS applications and related enterprise platformsModeling / MBSE: Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, Cassandra and digital engineering environmentsAPI & Systems Integration: API gateways, REST/GraphQL, API catalogs, message queues, streaming platforms and ETL pipelinesCitrix / Virtualization: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), NetScaler/ADC, StoreFront, PVS/MCS, VDI, FSLogix and enterprise virtualization
Candidates do not need to have every technology listed below. We are particularly interested in engineers with deep expertise in one or more of these areas combined with strong overall systems engineering capabilities.
What You'll DoDesign, configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications and infrastructure in cloud-based environmentsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Application as Code (AaC) using CI/CD pipelinesSupport cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps practicesTroubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze logs, identify root causes, and develop effective solutionsIntegrate applications and systems with workflow, case management, ticketing, automation, and enterprise platformsDevelop and maintain system interfaces and integrations using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Java, or C#Support identity and access management technologies including Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDCDevelop comprehensive test plans and support system testing, validation, and quality assuranceApply strong engineering rigor, configuration management, documentation, and change-management practicesWork with cross-functional engineering teams, customers, and end users to solve technical and operational challengesContribute to system architecture and understand the relationships between cloud services, infrastructure, applications, and securitySupport Agile development teams and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPrepare technical documentation, presentations, architecture diagrams, user guides, and other program deliverables

Requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (FS Poly also acceptable).
