Areas of Specialisation: · Geography, Disaster Management and Agricultural Systems · Environmental Management, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Pollution, Biodiversity Conservation, and GIS & Remote Sensing will be an added advantage Eligibility: · Master's degree in Geography/Environmental Science or allied disciplines with UGC-NET qualification. · Ph.D. in the relevant or allied discipline is preferred. · Eligibility conditions and terms of engagement shall be as per UGC norms and institutional regulations. KRAs: · Ability to teach core and elective courses in Geography and Environment, Disaster Management, Agricultural Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Climate Change, Environmental Pollution, Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Development, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Biodiversity Conservation · Contribute to curriculum development and periodic revision in alignment with NEP 2020 · Mentor students and supervise laboratory work, field studies, environmental surveys, internships, and research projects · Participate in departmental, institutional, and interdisciplinary academic activities
