Job Description

Qurat Quran Academy is a Rawalpindi-based education provider offering teaching opportunities in a focused academic environment. We are seeking GCSE and A Level teachers to help students build subject knowledge, strengthen examination skills and make steady progress against their learning goals.

Teachers will plan and deliver lessons aligned with the relevant GCSE or A Level curriculum, adapting explanations and activities to students’ needs. The role involves creating a supportive classroom experience, monitoring progress and helping learners prepare effectively for assessments.

• Prepare structured lesson plans and learning materials aligned with subject syllabi and course objectives.
• Teach subject content clearly, using examples, guided practice and discussion to develop understanding.
• Set and assess assignments, quizzes and examination-style questions, providing constructive feedback.
• Track student progress, identify learning gaps and adjust teaching approaches accordingly.
• Support revision and examination preparation, including exam technique and time management.
• Maintain an organized learning environment and communicate relevant progress or concerns to academy staff and families.

Job Specification

• Strong command of the relevant subject at GCSE and/or A Level standard.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt instruction to learners’ needs.
• Lesson planning aligned with curriculum specifications, learning objectives and assessment requirements.
• Experience using past papers, examination-style practice and effective revision techniques.
• Assessment skills, including marking work, identifying knowledge gaps and giving actionable feedback.
• Classroom or tutoring skills that encourage participation, focus and positive learning habits.
• Progress monitoring, organization and dependable preparation of lessons and materials.
