Lead Structured Cabling Technician

<p>Responsibilities </p><ul><li>Install UTP, fiber optic, and multi-conductor copper cabling infrastructure</li><li>Test and certify permanent links using industry-standard equipment</li><li>Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports</li><li>Conduct site surveys, plan tasks, and coordinate with project managers and</li></ul> engineers • Lead and manage a crew of installers in the field Requirements <ul><li>Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in low-voltage / telecommunications</li><li>Experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and audio/video</li></ul> cabling • Proficiency with industry-recognized certification tools, test equipment, and processes <ul><li>BICSI credentials are a plus</li><li>Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,</li></ul> Outlook) • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; perform basic math; and distinguish industry color codes <ul><li>Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record</li><li>Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying</li></ul> temperatures • Verifiable experience and character references required Benefits <ul><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>401(k) with company matching</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Company vehicle may be provided depending on role level</li></ul> Pre-hire drug screen, background, and DMV checks required.
