Our client, a leader in the elevator industry, is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow customer relationships throughout the local territory. You’ll focus on retaining existing business, identifying new opportunities, and helping customers plan for service, repair, and other building needs.

Elevator experience is not required. Relevant backgrounds may include B2B sales, account management, business development, HVAC, facilities services, building systems, or other service-based commercial environments.

What You’ll Own:

• Grow Service & Repair Revenue: Expand existing accounts, pursue new business, and help reduce cancellations through consistent customer engagement and follow-through.
• Build Customer Partnerships: Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through site visits, proactive communication, and an understanding of their ongoing needs.
• Manage Your Territory: Maintain an active pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and develop a strategic approach to growing your assigned market.
• Generate New Business: Build relationships with prospective customers, industry contacts, and internal partners to uncover new service and repair opportunities.
• Deliver Customer Solutions: Recommend service, repair, modernization, and capital-planning solutions that support short- and long-term building needs.
• Prepare Bids & Contracts: Develop repair proposals and service contract bids using site surveys, blueprints, pricing, and input from operations teams.
• Stay Current: Maintain knowledge of company offerings, local codes, industry trends, and service solutions through ongoing training and development.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Sales Experience: 1 year of experience in B2B sales, outside sales, account management, business development, or another customer-facing sales environment.
• Account Growth & Business Development: Experience managing a pipeline, developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and moving business through the sales cycle.
• Communication & Customer Management: Confidence presenting recommendations, negotiating, understanding customer needs, and maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Organization & Follow-Through: Ability to manage multiple accounts, proposals, priorities, customer commitments, and ongoing follow-up.
• CRM & Technical Aptitude: Utilize CRM systems to manage customer activity and pipelines. Salesforce experience and the ability to review blueprints, architectural drawings, or site conditions is a plus.
• Industry Experience: Elevator, HVAC, facilities, building services, mechanical, or other technical service-industry experience is preferred but not required.

Location:

Phoenix – Local travel required to customer sites.
