About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical U. S. Accountant to join our finance team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Quick Books, a strong understanding of U. S. accounting principles, and experience in financial reporting and accounting operations.

This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, supporting tax compliance, and working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports. Perform monthly reconciliations and support month-end closing. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Handle accruals, amortization, reversals, GL mapping, and Chart of Accounts. Manage controlling accounts, account finalization, and FX transactions. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support preparation and filing of U. S. federal and state tax returns. Assist with internal and external audits and maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with internal teams and provide financial insights to management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Hands-on experience with Quick Books. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Good understanding of U. S. accounting principles and financial reporting. Knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, accruals, amortization, and month-end closing. Exposure to U. S. federal and state tax compliance is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
