Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for someone who writes clean code, solves complex problems, takes ownership of their work, and can independently deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
• Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance interfaces using React.js.
• Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and middleware using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and optimise MongoDB databases, schemas, indexes, and queries.
• Implement secure authentication, authorisation, data validation, and third-party API integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Debug and resolve frontend, backend, database, and production issues.
• Implement security best practices, performance optimisation, error handling, and logging.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and collaboration.
• Conduct testing, code reviews, quality assurance, and production deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver assigned features within agreed timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2 to 3 years of professional full-stack development experience with proven production projects.
• Hands-on expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of React Hooks, component architecture, state management, and API integration.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and middleware.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Mongoose, schema design, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Practical knowledge of JWT authentication, role-based access control, input validation, and API security.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and collaborative development workflows.
• Working knowledge of Linux servers, application deployment, environment configuration, and CI/CD.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of software architecture, performance optimisation, and clean code principles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, time management, and independent delivery skills.

Nice to Have

• TypeScript, Next.js, and server-side rendering (SSR).
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Docker, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Redis, WebSockets, GraphQL, and real-time applications.
