About the PositionCalmify Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), conduct assessments within their professional scope, and assist with individualized treatment planning.You will help children, teens, and families strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, manage mental health symptoms, and develop practical skills for greater independence at home, in school, and in the community.Our ideal candidate brings sound clinical judgment, initiative, strong follow-through, and a commitment to helping clients make meaningful progress.
ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized PSR services consistent with each client’s assessed needs and approved treatment or rehabilitation plan.Conduct mental health and functional assessments within professional scope and applicable supervision requirements.Assist with developing and updating individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans with measurable goals and practical interventions.Help clients strengthen coping strategies, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, social functioning, and independent living skills.Engage parents and caregivers when appropriate to reinforce progress between visits.Monitor client progress and promptly communicate changes in symptoms, functioning, or safety concerns to the clinical team.Collaborate with therapists, the clinical site supervisor, and other involved providers to coordinate care.Complete accurate, timely assessments, progress notes, and other required documentation in the electronic health record.Participate in applicable clinical consultation, supervision, and quality improvement activities.Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and compliance with agency procedures and applicable payer requirements.
Required QualificationsMeet current Nevada Medicaid qualifications for the QMHP role and the services assigned.Hold the applicable active Nevada professional license or board-issued clinical internship credential in good standing.Have the education, training, and demonstrated competency needed to perform assessments and provide PSR within professional scope.Maintain an individual Type 1 NPI and complete required Medicaid enrollment and affiliation with Calmify before providing Medicaid-billable services.Demonstrate strong documentation, communication, organization, and time-management skills.Work respectfully and effectively with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.Complete required background screening and credential verification.
Preferred QualificationsExperience providing PSR or other rehabilitative mental health services.Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.Experience completing assessments and contributing to measurable treatment plans.Familiarity with Nevada Medicaid documentation requirements.Experience using SimplePractice or another electronic health record.
