We are looking for that special individual to contribute their best to enhance the lives of injured or physically impaired animals. <p></p> Gold Coast is proud to offer a variety of rehabilitation services and modalities to our patients including: <ul><li> In-patient/out-patient rehab </li><li> Home exercise programs </li><li> Weight loss management </li><li> Client education </li><li> Numerous assistive devices </li><li> Therapeutic laser </li><li> Electric stimulation </li><li> Therapeutic massage </li><li> Therapeutic exercises </li><li> Therapeutic ultrasound </li><li>&amp; A wide range of exercise equipment. </li> </ul> <br /> Schedule: 10 hour shift Day shift Experience: Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred) <br /> Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: <ul><li> Gentle handling of patients &amp; restraining </li><li> Assisting with physical rehabilitation treatments, </li><li> Maintaining rehabilitation equipment </li><li> Cleaning, laundry and basic clinic up keep </li><li> Medication administration &amp; filling prescriptions </li><li> Assisting our Technicians and our Veterinarian as needed </li><li> Tackling projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!)</li></ul> Skills Knowledge and Expertise <ul><li> High school diploma or GED required </li><li> Preferred have at least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience </li><li> Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff.
