The OpportunityWe are representing a highly regarded national law firm seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its established practice in Tampa.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an attorney with approximately 4–6 years of litigation experience and a strong background in labor and employment law.
The successful candidate will work on sophisticated employment disputes, assume responsibility for litigation matters and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a well-established practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesHandle labor and employment litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and other litigation documents.Conduct depositions and assist with hearings and court proceedings.Represent employers in employment-related disputes and administrative proceedings.Advise clients on employment law issues, litigation risks and dispute resolution.Manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with colleagues on complex cases.Maintain strong working relationships with clients and provide commercially focused advice.
Candidate RequirementsApproximately 4–6 years of litigation experience.Demonstrable experience handling labor and employment matters.Active Florida Bar licence in good standing.Experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery and handling depositions.Strong written and oral advocacy skills.Ability to manage litigation independently or as part of a team.Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
