Position Summary

The Maintenance Director plays a key role in keeping our building running smoothly and safely. This hands-on leadership position oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, preventative care, repairs, and inspections across the facility. You’ll guide the maintenance team with a steady hand and a positive attitude, making sure our residents and staff enjoy a clean, well-maintained home every day.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a maintenance leader in a healthcare or similar environment

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC units, water heaters, kitchen equipment, and general building systems

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance staff to ensure timely, reliable work

• Perform daily facility inspections and respond to needs promptly

• Oversee mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, water heaters, and kitchen equipment

• Complete or supervise repairs in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, painting, drywall, roofing, and more

• Maintain organized storage and mechanical rooms

• Ensure proper care and safe use of tools, equipment, and vehicles

• Manage maintenance budgets effectively
