The opportunityA leading national engineering firm is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help lead its healthcare work in Raleigh. You'll run hospital and healthcare projects from first concept through to the end of construction. You'll also be a senior voice in the mechanical team, guiding engineers day to day and helping them grow.

What you'll doLead mechanical design on healthcare projects of all sizes, from concept design to completion of constructionDesign HVAC systems for complex clinical spaces such as operating rooms, isolation rooms and central plantsBe the main technical and client-facing lead, managing relationships, the project team and the scheduleSupervise the mechanical staff's day-to-day workMentor engineers on technical skills and career developmentWork closely with the in-house electrical, plumbing, fire protection and other teams
What you'll bringA degree in mechanical engineering or a related fieldA PE licence (Ideally)7+ years of experience in an A/E consulting environmentA proven track record of managing projects successfullyStrong HVAC design expertise and a working knowledge of the related disciplinesHealthcare experience is highly desirable
