Tax Accountant

To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Tax Accountant will prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns while building client relationships and mentoring team members in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Prepare and ensure accuracy of individual and business tax returns in compliance with tax laws Research and interpret tax regulations to support compliance and planning efforts Collaborate with senior accountants and managers to improve processes and efficiencies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or EA preferred, or actively seeking either credential 1+ years of relevant experience in public accounting Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of at least one to two specific industries Leadership skills and ability to motivate others under tight deadlines Developmental skills to train and mentor team members
