Finance Accounting Manager

An Accounting Manager is responsible for the daily accounting operations, general ledger maintenance, and ensuring US GAAP/IFRS compliance. In addition, the role will supervise staff, support month-end close, monitor job costing/inventory valuation, maintain internal controls and assist in regulatory compliance. Essential Job Duties: Assist with the timely financial close process and support of the periodic forecast/budget cycles Support the day-to-day operations of the accounting team Provide direction and oversight to all aspects of the general ledger, including analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries Manage the general ledger and ensure proper coding of transactions Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records Verify the accuracy of job costs as well as the reconciliation of all subledgers to the general ledger (A/P, A/R, cash management, equipment, payroll) Prepare schedules and documentation for external year-end audit, including annual Physical Inventory oversight Ensure compliance with applicable state, and local tax filings (sales
