This Level I facility operates 12 main operating rooms and maintains 243 patient beds to support a broad range of surgical services, including adult cardiac anesthesia coverage. The facility does not utilize CRNA support, and the cardiac anesthesiologist will function independently during all assigned coverage periods. Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources are in place to support on-call anesthesia services.

Montana offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreational and cultural attractions throughout the state. The region features notable natural landmarks, including Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, and the Beartooth Highway, with year-round opportunities for fly fishing, hiking, and rafting. Clinicians will also find cultural and historical destinations, including Pictograph Cave State Park, the Little Bighorn Battlefield, and Garnet Ghost Town, as well as resort communities that provide additional leisure options during time away from clinical duties.

The adult cardiac anesthesiologist will provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiac anesthesia services in an operating room setting, scheduled once per week per month beginning in November on an ongoing basis. Call coverage is a required component of this position, and on-site availability must be maintained throughout all designated coverage periods. The clinician must hold fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology and TEE certification.
