Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) and RestAssured for web and API testing.
• Lead the implementation of in-sprint automation strategies to enable continuous validation within agile sprints.
• Integrate automated test suites with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and other DevOps tools for seamless pipeline execution.
• Develop and execute API, UI, regression, and smoke/sanity test suites with a focus on performance, reliability, and coverage.
• Implement automated test reporting using tools like Extent Reports, Allure, or custom dashboards for real-time visibility and issue tracking.
• Automate load and performance testing using JMeter, integrated with automation workflows where applicable.
• Support multi-cloud and multi-environment testing (AWS, Azure, GCP) across QA, staging, production, and sandbox environments.
• Ensure test data management, environment configuration, and test script versioning via Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and promote best practices in test design, code quality, and framework maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve test coverage, reduce defects, and accelerate release timelines.
• Provide technical guidance on test automation strategy, tool selection, and framework evolution.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium with Java (including Page Object Model, TestNG, Maven, and framework design).
• 5+ years of experience with RestAssured for API automation (including JSON/XML validation, authentication, and integration with CI/CD).
• Strong understanding of API testing methodologies, RESTful services, OAuth2, JWT, and Postman.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Experience with test reporting and dashboards: Extent Reports, Allure, Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Solid knowledge of version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in agile/Scrum environments with a focus on in-sprint testing and continuous delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
