Job Description
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides and coordinates care for patients in a large, high-acuity ED, using the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based treatment. Working in a quaternary care setting with stroke, cardiac, and trauma designations, this RN performs rapid assessments, administers medications and interventions, monitors patient status, and documents in the EHR. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support high-quality outcomes and a safe, respectful patient experience.
