About Us :
Vyve works with Saa S companies on product launches, go to market campaigns, marketing and creative initiatives.
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to work closely with the founder and support business development across the Indian Saa S and technology ecosystem.
This role is suited for someone who actively follows startups, technology, Saa S, marketing and go to market strategies and wants practical exposure to how companies identify, approach and work with potential clients.
Responsibilities :
Research Saa S companies, startups, founders and potential clients across India
Identify and qualify relevant business development opportunities
Assist with outbound communication through Linked In, email and other relevant channels
Research prospective clients before initiating conversations
Assist with lead generation and maintaining prospect information
Participate in discovery and client onboarding calls
Work directly with the founder on business development activities
Support preparation for client conversations and meetings
Contribute to business development messaging and outreach strategies
Track outreach activity, conversations and opportunities
Stay informed about developments across the Indian Saa S and startup ecosystem
What we're looking for :
Strong interest in Saa S, technology and the Indian startup ecosystem
Good understanding of basic marketing and go to market concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to research companies and understand their products and business models
Comfortable communicating with founders, senior professionals and potential clients
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
Good understanding of digital content, branding and creative work
A background in marketing is preferred but no specific degree or academic qualification is required.
Previous experience in business development, sales, marketing or working at a Saa S company is a plus but is not mandatory.
Creative :
The role also involves working closely with marketing and creative teams, so an understanding of design, branding and content is useful.
You do not need to be a designer; however, having good visual judgment and an understanding of what makes marketing and creative work effective will be an advantage.
Client Exposure :
You will participate in client discovery, onboarding and business development conversations from the beginning of the internship.
This will involve working directly with founders, CXOs, marketing leaders and other senior stakeholders at Saa S and technology companies.
You will also work directly with the founder of Vyve on business development strategy, prospect research, outreach and client conversations.
Compensation
Monthly stipend: ₹20,000 to ₹40,000
Performance based incentives: Additional incentives may be provided based on agreed performance criteria and business development outcomes
The final stipend within the stated range will depend on the candidate's experience, skills and interview assessment
Work Environment :
This is a fully on site role in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
The internship follows a 5 day work week with flexible working hours, subject to business and client requirements.
