Role Description This is a full-time, on-site GNM Staff Nurse role based in Bengaluru. The GNM Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, supporting pre- and post-procedure care, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The nurse will educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance, while responding promptly to patient needs and changes in condition. The position also includes participating in quality improvement activities, maintaining documentation as per hospital standards, and supporting a respectful, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid GNM (General Nursing) qualification from a recognized institution and current nursing registration with the appropriate council.
  • Strong clinical skills in basic nursing procedures, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and patient assessment.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols in inpatient or interventional settings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, handle multiple patients, and respond calmly to emergencies or critical situations.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by patient care demands.
  • Basic computer skills for electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Prior experience in hospital or interventional care units is an advantage, though motivated early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
