About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python and experience in Golang to build scalable backend systems powering our mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have experience working on production-grade mobile application backends/APIs , not just internship or academic projects. You will work closely with mobile developers, product, and other engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Golang .
• Build robust REST APIs and backend systems supporting mobile applications.
• Develop and integrate APIs for mobile applications across Android/iOS.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested and production-ready code.
• Work with databases, caching, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Optimize backend performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Debug production issues and improve system stability.
• Collaborate with mobile developers, product managers, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Write unit/integration tests and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend services in production environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, logging, and observability where required.

Must-Have Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• 1+ year of professional, hands-on Golang (Go) experience.
• Strong experience building REST APIs/backend services .
• Experience building or supporting backends for mobile applications .
• Strong understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL .
• Good understanding of API design, authentication, security, and system architecture.
• Experience with Git and software development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Candidates whose experience is primarily internships, academic projects, or training will not be considered .
