Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Visakhapatnam. The Senior Interior Designer will lead design projects from initial concept through final execution, including client consultations, needs assessment, and presentation of design proposals. Responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials, finishes, and FF& E, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves supervising project timelines and quality, conducting site visits, resolving design and construction issues, and ensuring designs align with budget and client expectations. The Senior Interior Designer will also mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional and visually cohesive layouts. Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including creating detailed plans and coordinating with project stakeholders. Experience with FF& E selection and specification, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes tailored to client requirements. Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Enscape, V- RAY or similar tools). Demonstrated experience leading interior design projects from concept to completion, preferably in residential and/or commercial interiors. Strong communication, client-facing, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site.Details
