The roleWe’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our Asheville team. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to deliver commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout. It’s a good opportunity for someone who wants to grow toward a Project Manager role.
What you’ll doSupport PMs with day-to-day project administration, including RFIs, submittals, change orders and meeting minutesHelp manage subcontractor scopes, buyout and procurementTrack budgets, cost reports and schedulesCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers and field teamsKeep project documentation in ProcoreSupport quality control, safety initiatives and closeout documents
What we’re looking for2+ years of experience in commercial construction (as an APM, project engineer or similar)Experience on healthcare, K-12 or higher education projects is a strong plusDegree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferredGood organisation and communication skillsFamiliarity with Procore, MS Project or similar construction softwareA team player with a strong work ethic who wants to grow
