Description

We are seeking a US Commercial Leasing Expert / Property Accountant with strong expertise in US commercial lease agreements, property accounting, and Yardi. The role focuses on lease interpretation, tenant billing, property accounting, and lease compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret US commercial leases , including NNN, Gross, Modified Gross, CAM, rent escalations, taxes, insurance, and tenant recoveries.
• Prepare lease abstracts and configure lease terms, billing schedules, escalations, and recoveries in Yardi .
• Manage tenant billing, payments, AR, AP, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Allocate property expenses and tenant recoveries according to lease terms.
• Assist with CAM and year-end reconciliations .
• Verify tenant billings against executed lease agreements.
• Prepare and analyze property-level financial, AR, and AP reports.
• Coordinate with property management, leasing, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate lease and accounting data in Yardi.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in US commercial real estate leasing and property accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US commercial lease structures and terminology.
• Hands-on experience with Yardi or similar property management/ERP software.
• Strong understanding of tenant billing, AR/AP, reconciliations, and lease recoveries.
• Ability to interpret complex lease provisions and apply them to financial transactions.
• US commercial real estate/lease experience is mandatory.
