VP - Fund Raising & Banking Relations

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader for a client to step into the role of Head - Fund Raising & Public Sector Banking. You will be the strategic architect behind the client's debt fund-raising strategy, with a primary focus on driving relationships with Public Sector Banks (PSUs) and Government-backed financial institutions.

This role demands an expert hand in navigating end-to-end debt mobilization-ranging from working capital and term loans to structured corporate finance and large-scale project funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Debt Mobilization: Develop and execute short- and long-term debt strategies; identify optimal funding structures (Term Loans, Working Capital, LC/BG, and structured debt) while optimizing borrowing costs.
• PSU Banking Relationships: Build and anchor strong relationships with senior officials across Branch, Regional, Zonal, and Head Office levels of Public Sector Banks to ensure smooth credit appraisals and fast-tracked sanctions.
• Financial Structuring & Proposal Development: Oversee the end-to-end preparation of loan proposals, Information Memoranda, CMA data, and detailed project reports (DPRs) to ensure seamless credit positioning.
• Consortium & Working Capital Management: Drive renewals, limit enhancements, and optimal utilization of fund-based and non-fund-based limits across multiple banking and consortium arrangements.
• Project & Capex Financing: Secure funding for greenfield/brownfield expansion projects, aligning debt-equity structures, and leveraging applicable government-backed credit schemes.
• Execution & Compliance: Lead documentation, charge creation, and compliance with pre/post-disbursement conditions to ensure zero operational delays.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: CA / CMA / MBA Finance from a reputed institution. Additional certifications in Treasury or Project Finance are a plus.
• Experience: 15-22 years of deep expertise in Corporate Finance, Debt Syndication, or Corporate Banking.
• Sector Background: Proven track record within large manufacturing groups, infrastructure, EPC, defense manufacturing, or capital-intensive industries.
• Core Competency: A strong, established network within Public Sector Banks and rich experience handling large consortium banking arrangements.
