Our Client is the Capability centre of a US Leader in Bangalore. This is a professional services firm with 100 years + history and strong culture

The successful candidate will partner closely with US Tax leaders , help recruit and develop high-performing teams and establish world-class delivery and quality processes

• 15+ years of experience- CA & / CPA building, scaling, and leading US Tax teams and operations
• Demonstrated experience leading teams supporting multiple US tax return types such as 1040,1120, 1065, and related tax workflows
• Strong understanding of US tax compliance operations and delivery management

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Build a scalable Bangalore Tax Capability

Establish the foundation for a scalable and sustainable tax organization. Create a delivery organization

capable of supporting growth without compromising quality.

Key activities will include:

• Building and scaling the Bengaluru tax team
• Recruiting leaders and tax professionals across multiple levels
• Creating onboarding, training, and career development programs
• Establishing governance, quality, review, and risk management frameworks
• Driving process standardization, productivity improvements, and automation opportunities
• Helping determine the future-state India Tax operating model
• Building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Build Trusted Relationships across the Firm

Act as a bridge between US Tax leadership and the India organization.

Key activities include:

• Building trusted partnerships with Tax Partners, Managing Directors, and service-line leaders
• Understanding business priorities and translating them into execution plans

Build a High-Performance Tax Culture

Build an organization known not only for technical excellence, but also for professionalism,

accountability, and strong leadership.

Key activities include:

• Establishing clear expectations around ownership, responsiveness, and execution excellence
• Coaching team members through ambiguity, change, and growth
• Building leadership maturity, sound judgment, and professional credibility across the organization
• Strengthening succession pipelines and future leadership capability

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 15+ years of experience building, scaling, and leading US Tax teams and operations
• Demonstrated experience leading teams supporting multiple US tax return types such as 1040,1120, 1065, and related tax workflows
• Strong understanding of US tax compliance operations and delivery management
• Outstanding communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• CA and/or CPA is a must
