The Kerry-Harrisonburg facility has over 160 employees working 24/7. The successful candidate for this role is someone comfortable working on a hybrid shift (2pm-10pm) shift, but flexible to support other shifts when needed, and open to career advancement opportunities.Key responsibilities
- Support business strategy by ensuring EHS directives, policies, and initiatives are effectively implemented at the site level.
- Develop and execute EHS annual objectives and continuous improvement plans with site operations management.
- Implement new or revised EHS policies and regulatory requirements in partnership with operations.
- Identify EHS training needs and deliver training programs for employees and management.
- Manage environmental permits and ensure compliance with site-specific regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections, driving corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Lead and support EHS incident investigations, ensuring timely communication of findings and actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to enhance workplace safety.
- Track and report EHS KPIs, identifying trends and driving performance improvements.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- BS in Occupational Safety & Health or related field, OR at least 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, Word necessary.
- SAP, Intelex and/or Alchemy experience a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Professional certification (ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.) a plus.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA Working knowledge of local EHS regulations a plus
- Experience in Continuous Improvement a plus.Compensation Data
