Role Description The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating design solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating needs into functional designs, and collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure structural, mechanical, and electrical integration. The role also involves preparing documentation for approvals, supporting site visits, and ensuring that designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability goals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Palakkad, requiring regular coordination with project teams, consultants, and contractors to support smooth project delivery. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong core Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including concept development, space planning, and detailing. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan timelines, manage resources, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Candidates should possess Software Development and Integration-related skills where relevant, such as coordinating BIM or CAD tools with other project systems. Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with building codes, standards, and local regulatory processes. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent, with relevant licensure/registration as required by local regulations. Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and respond constructively to feedback. Experience in site coordination, basic understanding of structural and MEP considerations, and an interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design.
