Deputy manager- health, safety & environment (hr)

<p> Role Purpose- </p> <p> Responsible to protect workers from job-related injuries and illnesses, identify and mitigate physical, chemical and biological hazards in the workplace as well as improving training and communications that clearly explain the company objectives for promoting a safe and healthy workspace. </p> <p> Roles &amp; Responsibilities- </p> <p>- Make the yearly safety calendar in order to improve the safety activities </p> <p>- Execute risk assessment &amp; KYT (Danger prediction) process as per the plan to control/minimize the positional hazard in the process </p> <p>- Co-ordinate with the respective department head to set the safety process parameters </p> <p>- Organize monthly departmental audits for all the plants in order to ensure safe practices &amp; environment for the employees </p> <p>- Conduct the plant safety inspection/safety patrol throughout the plant to ensure to identify/minimize the unsafe acts /condition </p> <p>- Prepare the safety manual and update on frequent intervals in order to ensure the correct safety standard </p> <p>- Implement the work permit system in order to regulate the non-routine works </p> <p>- Ensure quality and availability of PPE </p> <p>- Design and conduct safety training and educational programmes for the prevention of personal injuries and safety awareness </p> <p>- Organize safety and environmental awareness trainings for all the operators/ staff (new joinees) </p> <p>- Conduct trainings as per requirement of the organization regards to safety, environmental, awareness and induction trainings to all employees </p> <p>- Investigate all accidents and near miss incidents to avoid them in the future </p> <p>- Coordinate with all departments to provide assistance in analyse all accidents and take countermeasures </p> <p>- Support &amp; co-ordinate smooth functioning safety committee and tool box/communication meetings </p> <p>- Execute the all applicable legal compliance related to local /state level safety laws </p> <p>- Prepare &amp; execute annual 5s plan in order to improve the 5s standards </p> <p>- Support the general administration activities </p> <p> Desired Industry / Functional Exposure- </p> <p> Knowledge about the Safe practices, Safety &amp; Environmental standards, legal requirements, Communication Skills, Presentation skills </p> <p> Must have key areas- </p> <p> Safety System, Safety trainings, Accident reporting &amp; Investigation, Safety Committee, Legal compliance, 5s system, Administration </p> <p> Role Requirements- </p> <p>-B. E./B. Tech./Diploma- Mechanical + Diploma- Safety/HSE (must have) </p> <p>-8-12 years of total experience </p> <p>-Industry Exposure- Manufacturing/Auto/Chemical </p>
