This is an opportunity to lead high-end residential projects, guiding work from initial design through installation while collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal team members. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can balance creative design leadership with the precision and accountability required to deliver complex projects successfully to impact our client's team.
Key Responsibilities Manage assigned projects from schematic design through installation and project closeoutServe as the primary day-to-day project lead and client contactDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and action-item listsCoordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors throughout all project phasesLead project meetings and distribute follow-up itemsPrepare and maintain project specifications, schedules, budgets, and procurement documentationReview proposals, estimates, shop drawings, and submittals for accuracy and design intentCoordinate furniture, lighting, plumbing, finish, and accessory selectionsCreate and maintain AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, and custom millwork detailsAssist Principal with design development, presentations, and project strategyConduct site visits and oversee installation activitiesIdentify project risks and proactively resolve issues before they impact schedule or budgetEnsure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained according to studio standards
Qualifications7+ years of luxury residential interior design experienceBachelor’s degree in interior design or related fieldStrong proficiency in Design Manager, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google SuiteExperience preparing and managing project budgets and schedules, with experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and fabricatorsExperience with custom furniture and millwork developmentAbility to read and interpret architectural drawing sets and construction documentsKnowledge of residential construction methods, detailing, and custom fabrication processesStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentInternational residential project experienceFamiliarity with luxury furnishings, finishes, and trade resources
