Role Description The Director of Sales and Business Development is a remote, contract role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s market presence. We are seeking an experienced, highly strategic individual to drive software sales for our proprietary Supply Chain Efficiency Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. In this role, you will lead the digital transformation of aerospace supply chains by replacing the fractured legacy systems with our integrated SaaS solution. You will navigate complex sales cycles, build relationships with executives and buyers, and guide aerospace prospects from initial meetings through the integration of the final product. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Sales: Manage complex sales cycles from initial discovery and technical demo fully through corporate, facility and contract execution. Value-Based Selling: Conduct deep discovery of customer supply chain efficiency challenges, quantify inefficiencies, present our SaaS platform as an ROI-driven solution to reduce inefficiencies by 25-40% by reducing hard costs such as inventory and full-time equivalents and soft costs such as administrative, transaction and inventory carrying costs. Cross-Functional Navigation: Build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups, including Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality Assurance and I.T. Compliance
