Job Description
Role: SAT English Tutor
This is a remote teaching role for experienced SAT English Tutors. The tutor will work closely with students preparing for the SAT, delivering structured lessons, strengthening reading and writing skills, and improving overall SAT English performance.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Deliver online SAT English classes (Reading, Writing & Language, Grammar, and Comprehension)
Explain concepts using SAT-specific strategies and real exam passages
Build students’ accuracy, speed, and time-management skills
Create customized lesson plans aligned with SAT exam patterns and scoring
Assign, review, and evaluate practice questions and mock tests
Identify learning gaps and provide targeted improvement plans
Maintain strong engagement and rapport with students
Track and report student progress regularly
Skills & Requirements:
Teachers are required to have strong English proficiency (mandatory)
Strong expertise in SAT English (Reading & Writing sections)
Prior experience teaching SAT or US standardized tests
Ability to explain grammar, reading strategies, and writing concepts clearly
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong familiarity with SAT format and scoring
Comfortable teaching students online
Minimum 2–3 years of SAT English teaching experience preferred
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Any 8 hours between time slots of 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Week off will be on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
Mode: Fully Remote
Engagement Type: Long-term / Ongoing
