The Legal Billing Specialist ensures accurate, timely invoicing, billing compliance, client communication, and discrepancy resolution in coordination with attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:Review time entries and expenses for accuracy and compliancePrepare and process invoicesResolve billing discrepancies and inquiries with attorneys and staffHandle client billing matters professionallySupport month-end reconciliation and reportingMaintain knowledge of billing practices and regulationsQualifications:3+ years of legal billing or related experienceProficiency in ABA UTBMS Codes, LEDES1998B, and legal billing formatsAccuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesLegal terminology and billing guideline knowledge preferred
