Ticketing Manager

Job Title: Ticketing Executive Department: Travel & Tourism Location: Chennai Experience: 1–3 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a Ticketing Executive to handle domestic and international flight bookings, ticket issuance, cancellations, reissues, refunds, and customer queries. The candidate should have good knowledge of airline reservation systems and be able to provide efficient and accurate travel solutions. Key Responsibilities Handle domestic and international flight bookings and reservations . Issue, reissue, cancel, and modify air tickets. Handle ticket refunds, cancellations, date changes, and no-show cases . Check flight schedules, availability, fares, and applicable airline rules. Provide suitable flight options based on customer requirements and budget. Coordinate with airlines, travel agents, and customers regarding ticketing issues. Maintain accurate records of bookings, tickets, payments, and cancellations. Handle customer queries and provide timely assistance. Ensure compliance with airline policies and fare rules. Prepare daily/weekly ticketing and sales reports. Coordinate with the accounts and operations teams for payment and reconciliation. Follow up on pending bookings, payments, refunds, and ticket confirmations. Required Skills Good knowledge of domestic and international airline ticketing . Knowledge of GDS/CRS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or similar. Knowledge of fare rules, baggage policies, cancellation and refund procedures. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel . Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good coordination and problem-solving skills. Qualification Any degree/diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, or a related field . Relevant experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations is preferred. Preferred Experience 1–3 years of experience in domestic/international ticketing.
