I'm currently recruiting for Cravath-scale AmLaw 100 firms seeking Capital Markets Associates with 2 to 7 years of experience for their Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin) offices. These are core seats on sophisticated capital markets and public company advisory practices, representing issuers, underwriters, and placement agents across public securities offerings, private placements, and other securities transactions. Teams also handle public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance, and day-to-day securities counseling, with some platforms offering exposure to BDCs and other 1940 Act or 1933 Act fund products.
Key Qualifications2 to 7 years of capital markets and public securities experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or elite boutiqueDirect experience with one or more of the following: public securities offerings, private placements, underwritten and agented offerings, public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance, Section 13 and Section 16 filings, or exchange listing and governance requirementsWorking knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934JD from a top law school with strong academic credentialsAdmitted in Texas, or eligible to waive in
