Maintenance Technician II

Job Type: Full Time Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 7 pm Expected Hours 40+ Our client is a food manufacturer that is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join their maintenance department. This person will complete preventive maintenance and independently troubleshoot and repair production equipment to reduce downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on production machinery and supporting equipment. Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify the cause of failure, and coordinate repairs with production to restore safe operations. Perform and document preventive maintenance independently Support thermoforming machines, extruders and sheet lines, pre-heaters, trim presses and cutting dies, and related utilities such as vacuum systems, chillers, grinders, and compressors Must have 3-7 years of industrial maintenance experience Must have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Must be able to read mechanical schematics and technical manuals and complete work orders independently Working knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and basic root cause analysis.
