Job SummarySupport substation automation and modernization projects through SCADA, OT networking, RTU configuration, network architecture, and cybersecurity. Work with Protection & Controls, IT, field engineering, vendors, and contractors.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and troubleshoot SCADA/OT networks, RTUs, and substation communications.Support IP/MPLS, BGP, SD-WAN, and industrial Ethernet.Develop redundant, highly available utility network architectures.Configure NovaTech Orion LX+ RTUs and DNP3 communications.Support NERC CIP, OT/IT segmentation, Zero Trust, and firewalls.Work with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Ruggedcom, Cisco IE, and ABB equipment.Support RS-232/485, T1, fiber optics, and legacy-to-IP migration.Support PTP and TSN time synchronization for substation automation.Create Visio network diagrams, IP documentation, and equipment records.Troubleshoot design vs. as-built discrepancies.Monitor networks using SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, NetBrain, and Splunk. xzbcwsv Coordinate technical deliverables with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors.
