About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Enterprise Solutions to provide strategic and operational leadership in the management and support of enterprise applications, integrations, and data platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of services, including enterprise academic and administrative applications, application development, web hosting, web accessibility programs, enterprise application integration services, and enterprise data management. This role involves developing and implementing vision and plans for the operating needs of the Enterprise Solutions group, as well as leading a team of approximately 40 professionals. The Associate CIO will also be a key player in the company's current assessment of options for modernizing its ERP and Student Information System environment, leading stakeholder engagement, and change management. Applicants for the Associate CIO position must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for an advanced degree. A minimum of 10 years' progressive IT leadership experience is required, with a strong background in business process improvement, enterprise applications, integration services, and data management. The role demands demonstrated leadership in managing high-performing technology teams, experience in large, decentralized, or complex organizational environments, and a proven track record in leading and sustaining organizational change. Professional competencies include the ability to deliver on outcomes, work effectively with diverse stakeholders, and excellent communication skills. Experience in IT in a research university or similarly complex institution, formal change management training, and a background in ITIL or ITSM frameworks are also preferred.
