We’re hiring in India: Lead RCM Analytics & AI Analyst

About Gabeo

We're a healthcare AI company based in Palo Alto. We find money that healthcare organizations have lost without knowing it, payments made to the wrong party, and claims that were denied or written off. Small team, US customers, direct access to the CEO.

This is not a traditional medical billing role. It is not a reporting role. And it is not for someone who has simply added “Generative AI” to their résumé.

Gabeo.ai is looking for a rare kind of problem-solver: someone who learned US healthcare from the ground up, perhaps in billing, AR, denials, payment posting, or claims operations, and then became deeply analytical.

You may be the right person if you are usually the one who:

• Investigates why a claim was paid, denied, adjusted, or written off
• Questions the explanation when the numbers do not make sense
• Uses SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to find the real answer
• Understands CPT/HCPCS, modifiers, EOBs/ERAs, CARCs/RARCs, and the claim lifecycle
• Identifies underpayments, overpayments, revenue leakage, and incorrect operational behavior
• Turns messy problems into clear, testable business rules
• Uses LLMs daily to research, reason, analyze, document, prototype, and move faster
• Verifies AI-generated answers instead of blindly trusting them
• Wants to help build healthcare products, not just follow an SOP

What you will

You will become a key owner of our claims intelligence and RCM analytics work.

You will:

• Investigate complex claims, billing, payment, adjustment, and write-off behavior
• Validate whether analytical findings are financially and operationally correct
• Work with customers to understand problems and clearly explain findings
• Translate healthcare knowledge into structured business rules
• Partner with data, engineering, machine-learning, billing, and delivery teams
• Use LLMs to accelerate research, analysis, knowledge capture, and workflow development
• Identify opportunities to turn one-time analyses into repeatable products
• Help Gabeo.ai develop smarter ways to detect overpayments, underpayments, and revenue opportunities

You do not need to know our specific business models, systems, or terminology before joining. We will teach you those.

What is much harder to teach is curiosity, analytical judgment, ownership, and the instinct to keep investigating until the answer makes sense.

What we’re looking for

• Approximately 4–8 years of US healthcare RCM experience
• Hands-on experience in billing, AR, denials, payment posting, claims, or reimbursement
• Strong understanding of claims, remits, adjustments, and write-offs
• Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills
• Experience performing claims-level root-cause analysis
• Demonstrable proficiency using LLMs for serious analytical work
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently when the problem is ambiguous and no SOP exists
• A record of improving processes, not merely operating them

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, automation, product development, coding, or healthcare analytics is valuable. Intellectual curiosity and learning velocity matter more than collecting every possible credential.
