The facility operates as an outpatient addiction medicine clinic delivering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to an adult patient population. The clinic maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support consistent and coordinated care delivery throughout the assignment period. On-site resources are in place to accommodate locum tenens coverage on a day shift basis.

Fall River is a city with a notable industrial and maritime heritage. Among the attractions in the area is Battleship Cove, which houses the world's largest collection of historic naval ships, and the Freetown-Fall River State Forest, which offers over 50 miles of trails suited to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Clinicians will provide outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to an adult patient population at an on-site clinic, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 8-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing MAT intakes, dose adjustments, and annual physicals. Medications administered include Methadone, Buprenorphine, long-acting injectable Buprenorphine (LAIB), and long-acting Naltrexone; X waivers are no longer required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required; no call coverage is required.
