Seasonal Retail AssociateThe iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Seasonal Retail Associate to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.Seasonal Full-Time will run until January 2, 2027 with the possibility of extending to Full-Time employment.Exceptional Hospitality Starts with YouPicture yourself brightening someone's day. As a Retail Associate, you're not just selling merchandise – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.Here's what you'll do during a typical day:Delight our guests: Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly and efficient service to enhance the shopping experienceDrive retail sales: Highlight promotions and provide product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and maximize profitabilityBe a product expert: Offer guidance on merchandise, styling, and pricing to help customers make informed purchasesProcess transactions with care: Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cardsPackage and fulfill orders: Wrap merchandise and prepare orders for shipmentsMonitor inventory: Assist with stock management and ensuring proper merchandise supply levelsAt Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
