About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, track expenses and investments, and support monthly financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to maintain accurate and organized financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) data .
• Track and record company expenses, investments, and other financial transactions .
• Make regular and accurate entries in MS Excel .
• Maintain and organize accounting-related documents and records.
• Reconcile financial entries and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with tracking payments, receipts, expenses, and outstanding amounts.
• Support management with basic financial reports and accounting information.
• Handle other day-to-day accounting and finance-related activities as required.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience .
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel .
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience maintaining financial records and expense statements.
• Ability to prepare and track monthly P&L data.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and maintain organized records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Mumbai-based candidates preferred , especially those comfortable commuting to Grant Road/Lamington Road.

Compensation & Work Details

Salary: ₹1.8–2.4 LPA, negotiable for the right candidate

Location: Lamington Road, Grant Road (E), Mumbai – 400008

Work Mode: Onsite

Working Days: Monday to Saturday, with the 4th Saturday off

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
