We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of cloud architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and a proven track record of leading large-scale cloud projects. This role is pivotal in driving cloud strategy, optimizing performance, ensuring security compliance, and mentoring junior team members. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our cloud infrastructure, developing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud-based architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Develop and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to automate and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently. Act as a senior technical liaison with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) for strategic partnerships, issue resolution, and feature requests. Guide the conceptual design of cloud infrastructure and provide expert support to development teams in deploying scalable cloud applications and services. Create, manage, and optimize custom OS and application images to meet organizational needs and performance standards. Spearhead automation initiatives for system and application configurations to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Lead security audits, compliance assessments, and remediation efforts to maintain a robust and secure cloud environment. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to internal teams and customers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Troubleshoot complex issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, applying advanced problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and service interruptions. Conduct in-depth analysis of system performance and usage metrics, recommending and implementing strategic improvements. Oversee high-level escalation support, ensuring critical operational issues are resolved promptly. Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, setting technical direction and fostering professional growth. Drive research and development efforts to evaluate emerging cloud technologies, tools, and practices for potential adoption. Minimum Qualifications: At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in this/similar role. Strong expertise in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), including architecture, security, and compliance. Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python. Comprehensive knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with an emphasis on fostering a DevOps culture. Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline architecture and management, alongside experience with software development and version control systems. Advanced understanding of networking, IP Networking concepts, and cloud security best practices. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of leading complex technical investigations. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities to guide teams and influence technical direction. Education and Certification Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related technical field. Significant professional experience may substitute for formal education. Advanced certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CCSP. Clearance: U.S. Citizenship.
