Wireless Communications Intern

We are looking for a Wireless Communications Intern to work on wireless communication systems for an autonomous system.

What you’ll work on:

• WiFi / RF communication link design and testing
• Wireless protocol integration, including WiFi and Bluetooth
• RF link-budget, range and performance analysis
• Antenna selection, placement and optimization
• Embedded Linux networking and access-point configuration
• Throughput, latency and reliability testing
• Hands-on debugging of communication systems

What we’re looking for:

• Strong fundamentals in RF, antennas and wireless communication
• Understanding of WiFi, Bluetooth and communication protocols
• Familiarity with TCP, UDP, SCTP and 802.11 standards
• Hands-on experience through projects, internships or lab work
• Familiarity with Linux networking is a plus
• Basic experience with electronics, connectors and RF hardware

Preferred background: ECE (Electronics & Communication) or closely related disciplines

Experience: 0-1 year / Freshers with strong hands-on projects are welcome

Location: Chennai

Engagement: Internship with an opportunity to convert to full-time employment after 6 months, based on performance

Compensation: Stipend (based on performance)

People comfortable with systems that move, fail, and need to be debugged in the real world
