Location: Morrison Healthcare at MUSC Health-Orangeburg, SC Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Coverage Schedule: Full time with 2 Days Remote Allowed, 3 Days Onsite; Monday- Friday with Rotating Weekends, Flexible Schedule! Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Position Details: Seeking a Dietitian interested in a blended inpatient–outpatient role, providing outpatient cardiac rehab and general MNT, oncology; while covering inpatient units including telemetry, med/surg, and ICU. Located near Columbia (40 min), Charleston (1 hr 20 min), and Summerville (1 hr), MUSC Health Orangeburg offers dietitians easy access to vibrant food scenes, farmers markets, and weekend coastal getaways—making it a great place to grow your career while enjoying a balanced, affordable lifestyle. - Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
- Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
- Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
- Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
- One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
- Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
